Had lunch with my 5 year old at this place following my recent breakfast there. I had a leek and potato soup, it was absolutely delicious. I had this as part of a deal where you can have half a sandwich as well. I went for brie and chutney in white bread. The sandwich was very good. My son had a cheese and salad wrap which in is own way said was great. Place was clean and staff friendly. Coffee was good again, I had the Americano with cold milk. They had some homemade fudge next to the till, yes it was an impulse buy but it tasted very good.

Definitely a cute little place and quite busy during lunch, so beware you may not find a place to sit or you may have to wait. The staff seemed a bit rushed and manic when I visited. The cakes look very nice, but on this occasion I was looking for a light, but filling lunch. I decided on a sandwich with a side of coleslaw. The sandwich was ok, but there were quite a few fatty, not edible bits of bacon in it and I ended up just removing it altogether. The coleslaw was mostly mayo, not a lot of slaw… I’d give it another go, as it has been recommended to me by a few people that I work with and it seems to be a very popular café… there must be a reason and hopefully I will discover that reason next time around.

Great coffee, great for light meals, beautiful secluded garden hidden at the back to enjoy your breakfast in, surrounded by the sounds of the garden. A real hidden gem. Friendly staff, with a warm greeting. Always happy to help. Family friendly too. Not a greasy spoon by any means. High quality and stylish, a touch of class.

Excellent place for an afternoon bite to eat — sandwiches, cakes, etc.(strives for local produce, and does good, Fairtrade, coffee too). Has a nice garden out back, and plenty of space inside too.
