Fresh is worth a trip to Greenock.
The daily batch of cinnamon scones is a case of «if you’re not fast– you’re last!» And the smell alone is so tempting!
This wee social enterprise (employing local people and providing training opportunities) is an absolute cracker.
There’s always 3 soups to choose from including one gluten free and vegetarian option with some unusual and delicious flavour combos like butternut squash and chilli or celeriac and Apple for only £2 to take away with 2 slices of brown or tiger bread.
There is a mouth watering selection of cakes baked fresh daily on the premises usually including cakes, brownies and biscuits as well as baked potatoes, toasties, smoothies, milkshakes and nachos.
The customer service is outstanding with regular customers (like me!) remembered and warmly welcomed.
There’s contactless card payment service too which is a big plus for me.
