Premier Inn Manchester Airport FT

Stayed here back in March 2010 and had a very pleasant stay, attentive staff and good location, would recommend the hotel in a heartbeat.

Lovely room looking out towards the airport. Very large with every thing you need. Lovely girl on reception who suggested we book a table at the restaurant as it would be busy, which it was. Would definitely recommend it to anyone flying from Manchester

Yup, it’s a chain. But the staff at the Premier Inn Man Airport are extremely helpful… especially when you need to get to the airport at 3:30 a.m. with a toddler! Bravo and cheers for all the help!

You may wonder why I’m adding this Premier Inn when there is already a Premier Inn at Manchester Airport on Runger Lane but this is another Premier Inn. This one is called Freight Terminal (FT) and is located directly opposite the other Premier Inn.
When Ian and I were off to Lanzarote we had to stay over in Manchester and Thomas Cook organised the Holiday Extras for us and arranged our stay in this hotel. When we arrived we weren’t sure what hotel it was. After Ian jumped out our taxi to check at the first Premier Inn we arrived at he found out it was the one opposite.
We had our evening meal in the restaurant which was decent enough although they did mixed up our drinks and gave us diet Pepsi. I thought it tasted a bit off, the waiter did apologise.
Our room was up on the sixth floor but it was quite noisy, possibly air con units or something. I managed to get some sleep, Ian was up most of the night. We were due at the airport super early so were too early for breakfast, fortunately we didn’t pay for one. We were pretty sleep deprived and Ian complained about the noise, which they offered an apology for. At this point I was only giving the hotel a lowly two stars.
We stayed again when we came back from Lanazarote. Due to our plane being delayed we didn’t arrive until 4/4.30am, so the time we checked in and settle down to sleep it felt it was time to get up and check out. We made a point about the noise we heard the last time so they kindly put us on the ground floor where we got a better sleep. We were still absolutely exhausted and our plane wasn’t until much later on in the evening therefore meaning hanging around the airport for hours. The girl at the reception took one look at us as we checked out and said the room had no other booking and allowed us to stay longer and get some more sleep. We were very grateful and jumped straight back into bed and gave it some mighty big zeds.
Premier Inn redeemed themselves and I would be happy to stay there again.
