Arthur Rackhams Fine Wine Merchant shop is actually in Burpham in the small parade of shops just off the London Road. There is free parking directly outside the store, though places are limited and it can get pretty crowded at peak times. There is a vast choice of wine and extremely knowledgable staff in this family owned winestore. There are regular wine tastings as well, so ideal for choosing drinks for a special occassion. I rarely actually buy wine and or alcohol from here as it tends to be on the pricey side for everyday drinking. However if you want a ‘special’ bottle for a special occassion this is definitely an ideal place to visit. We bought a 40 year old bottle of port for our friends fortieth birthday party, an ideal present for this particular male friend!
