Frame Centre

Overpriced and abominable service! Have brought in two paintings for framing and two for stretching, costing us upwards of 200 quid. Expensive if done right, highway robbery if not… it wasn’t done right. Our oil was fine, but watercolor was given to us with large, noticeable ripples under the matting with absolutely no mention of this on their part, giving it to us wrapped and ready to take home. We had to bring it to their attention then have it redone (luckily we unwrapped it in the store and noticed it before we took it home and put it on the wall). Then they charged us more to fix it! Service has never been particularly helpful or kind, but today we spoke to two very rude ladies that obviously don’t care to keep customers. We had been told prior that there would be a promotion soon so we went back in to frame some new purchases were told by these ladies that we had missed it. We asked if they had sent out an email and they said that they just put a flyer in the window. No mention of honoring this for repeat customers or the offer of any discount. We were so put off by their rudeness that we took our three paintings to be framed and left, never to return. We were so stunned by the attitude we commented on the way home about it. Since this, we have put out feelers in community webpages asking for info on reputable framers and have gotten a lot of feedback and recommendations. Not one was for this place and I wish I had asked the town sooner!
