Trendy small unusual pub. Nice interior, compfy sofas. Small range of real ales but nothing unusual. quite like the place.

This is a
nice pub with a most pleasant yard out back. It serves a couple of standard
ales, but also a couple of more interesting selections. I got the Cairngorm
Trade Winds which I had enjoyed up in Scotland. It was nice here too.

I was once so drunkified at this pub that as I was racing my best pal to the restroom — I tripped and fell — and fell hard. (Thanks E).
Anyhow — this place rocks the house. It was a small walk downhill from my pals house and served the best damn fish and chips I ever had. The atmosphere and the staff were exceptional. I dont recall the other dinner I had here as I dont recall most of that night — but there was brunch involved a few days later and the chicken was perfect.
This was my very first pub on my very first visit to the UK. I cant wait to get back as I hear that cider is on tap now! And since I couldnt get my usual watery diet beer in the UK — I had to switch to sweet high calorie cider. And it rocked!
