We’ve been to the donkey park today –against my better judgement — and it is the biggest regret of the summer holidays so far. It’s dirty, lots of the toys are broken (e.g. in the adventure playground), its expensive to get in, the café looks and smells greasy and grimey — need I go on? I know its all in a good cause but less time spent chatting (by the staff) and more time with a broom or a cloth would be time very well spent. If you are in this area — I recommend Cotehele as a wholeheartedly nicer destination.

This Donkey park is located St Anne’s Chapel in Gunnislake. It is more suited to families with younger children. It caters for children parties, which is an excellent idea as all money made is ploughed back into the sanctuary. They also have events such as Santa visiting. There is also a souvenir shop and café. There is an indoor play barn for when the weather is poor too.
