Hill & Cakemore Conservative Club

The Hill & Cakemore is considered by many of us locals as one for the birthdays. It may not be the most pleasant of places, but various friends and family members have decided to hire the club out as their venue for birthday parties or similar events.
A typical Conservative Club, the dark main room is often let out to those who inquire about its availability and with the fairly cheap beer prices on offer and dancefloor/​DJ area, you can see why.
Without disrespecting the establishment to much, the potential of the place if fairly limited, with its location and land restricted, the club does well to gather so many people together and one time, remaining a relatively popular destination amongst locals.
As people often do say, it’s not where you are, it’s you you’re with and that is certainly the case here.
