Tesco Express

Friendly efficient staff particularly Stella, Alan, Sophie and Anthony,
All complaints dealt with efficiently and promptly by customer
service, great parking, recently very competitive pricing makes
the twice weekly shop a pleasure not a chore.
Always fully stacked shelves and staff answer the bell to increase
the numbers at the till.

I think generally a good tesco version of a corner shop. Persoanlly i go there as its on my way home from work and its conveneint. One guys who works there (dont know his name) always makes my day. I think he is canadian or american (sorry dont know which) he is so friendly its worth a trip just to get served by him!

This Tesco express is very similar to many around the country as it has the normal layout, is constantly clean, well-​lit, and doesn’t feel particularly cramped. There is also plenty of car spaces both disabled and regular which seems a bonus compared to most other ‘conveniance’ type stores.
There is always food on the shelves and staff who are all very friendly are constantly refilling them.
It is however rather expensive probably because of its ‘conveniance’ nature and it does generally seem to add 20% to the price of a regular tesco store.
The main problem would be that the cash machine is well off down the side of the building. At night this feels very intimidating as there is only one light near this area, it’s off the road beside the end of the car park and its almost out of sight of the main street and the front of the store. It’s very quiet and some people would I believe not take out money there, at night, by themselves. And finally it does tend to get overidden with the local school chiildren between half 3 and 5 but what place doesnt.
