Yes there are camels in Suffolk. The owners of the Oasis Camel Centre have had a serious interest in working with and keeping camels and their various relations for many years. You can share a day with these fascinating animals. You can learn, have fun and relax at the farm which is set in the peace and tranquility of the countryside. You can take a picnic and use the park benches or there is a reasonably priced café serving light lunches(Baked potatoes with fillings, ploughmans, full english I noticed and the usual cakes and muffins). As you would expect there are a few more flies than usual due to the animals I quess. There are special arrangements for camel rides etc. Check out the webside. You can find money off vouchers(£2 discount each) in the local press sometimes, which will help for a family. The animals look well cared for and looked after and very happy, hence the 5 stars.
