Mavrix is a great wee bar located right in the heart of Hamilton town centre. Despite it being a sort of sports bar, in the sense there’s always different sports and games on the multiple flat screens, and me not bring a sporty person, I still love it! They have a full bar, and pride themselves on having life acoustic sets and karaōke on different nights. They also do an open mic night, which is a great idea I think! On Fridays and Saturdays there’s a DJ on playing chart hits, but he also takes requests if you ask! Quiet most week nights but very busy on weekends, go here if you fancy a good wee night!
