Not an upmarket establishment but certainly not a dive either. They used to do food but when the new rules and regs came in they decided to stop the food side of it altogether. It’s a real ale pub but whenever I have been in it hasn’t been packed. They have a list of guest ales on a blackboard that is changed regularly. The landlord is a friendly, helpful chap called Roger. The ladies toilets are clean enough but a bit run down. There is a very small amount of parking space but there is a decent sized p & d car park next to it and a multi storey car park opposite this. There is a small area outside at the back with a table and chairs. Best of all the pub has a lovely spaniel called Molly.

Stopped in for a pint on a Monday night while visiting relatives in Harrogate. Nice little pub, off the main road, had a great selection of beers. Apparently, they rotate their selection quite often, which, I can imagine, keeps the locals coming back. Most importantly, delicious brews. Stop in!
