Been meaning to visit this lighthouse for years. It’s located on the southside of the mouth of the river Tees. It’s not open to the public as it’s part of the Coastguard station. There is a carpark just behind the station. We decided to walk from Redcar along the beach beside the dunes past the infamous Corus steel plant, it’s about 3 miles but worth it on a nice day. The beach was clean & had a paddle in the sea on route.
