On Sunday 5th August Malcolm led us on a circular walk around the old town telling tales of The Morbid and The Macabre so not for the squeamish! It started about 8pm and ran for around 1 hour 20 minutes.
There were about 30 of us but Malcolm has a good carrying voice so we could all hear.
He clearly knows his stuff and seemed to enjoy telling us about the hangings, drownings, disembowellings, live burials and murders etc of yesteryear. Great entertainment for £7.
It doesn’t seem to be a regular event i.e. every Monday but I’d happily go on any other guided tour that he was in charge of.
