The food is good and tasty but sometimes the service lets it down. I was standing around at the door for 5 mins before a guy at the bar asked if I was being seen to… Not the best. But don’t let that detract you from coming here. The food is good and tasty.

Have been meaning to try this restaurant for a while as it is only downstairs from my appartment. Very friendly staff and a good drinks selection.
I ordered the chicken sag which was very tasty and not at all oily — like so many other Indian resturants. The £12.50 a la carte menu offered great value, but quite a big portion for one person.
All in all a very good experience — the naan bread was second to non.
Definitely would recommend this.

Recently opened in the Comet Square development Bar Turan deviates from the traditional Curry House in serving smaller, generally tastier, dishes. In line with it’s more upmarket image, prices are generally higher than you would expect to pay in a regular Curry House.
Drinks offer a standard selection of wine/​beers including Curry house favourites such as Tiger and Cobra.
Comet Square is a relatively new development and not on Google Maps, but it is located next to the Dominos Pizza and beneath one of the ‘Parkhouse Court,’ blocks.
