Lovely old pub with lots of atmosphere. My favourite in Havant!

I’ll give it five. Atmosphere brilliant, friendly staff and customers. Food adventurous but not quite cooked to perfection. The majority freshly prepared but not my sweet, the waffle I think had been frozen. Having said that the garlic and chilli olives (starter) where superb. The vegi lasagne was good enough for me. I was very pleased with the wine prices. A bottle of rose went Down a treat at about £11. I am now going to check the garden out. — Well stocked flowering borders with ample picnic tables on the well trimmed grass. This is an ideal watering hole for everyone including families.

This is a lovely olde worlde pub right in the centre of Havant. It serves a great selection of beers and the food is reasonable, but could be better!
The building itself is gorgeous though, and it’s a lovely cosy spot for an evening drink. The garden is slightly wild but beautiful, and the perfect venue for an evening of summer’s drinking and chilling out with friends.
Definitely one of the better pubs in Havant, recommended.
