We’ve dined here before and had a very enjoyable evening so we were pleased to book again for a family night out. Regrettably this occasion was not so good. We booked the table for 7.30pm but our main order wasn’t taken until an hour and a quarter later. The waiters were friendly but looked stressed. Most of the dishes were very good but as per other comments the final bill was expensive. It would have been reasonable value for money if the service was much better. 2 starters, 5 mains, 1 bottle of wine and 8 drinks came to £ 150.00.

The food here is very nice. They use modern presentation and have a great english influence on the classic indian restaurant.
The place is open and feels classy. However, i didn’t feel i got value for money, as it is very expensive.

I went to K2 a couple of years ago with family. It was an early summers evening and we sat in the conservatory overlooking the small garden at the rear. We had a lovely meal, the staff were excellent. It wasn’t the cheapest Indian meal I have ever had but for this occasion it well worth the money. And the restaurant was packed!

I have been to this restaurant once and was not impressed at all. The food was average and the price was high. The service was not good. As soon as I‘d put my spoon down the waiter was taking my plate away and bringing me the bill.
My whole experience was completely rushed and felt like they couldn‘t get me out of the door quick enough.
I will not be returning to this restaurant.

A below-average over-priced indian resaurant.
The serice is acceptable and the food is fair, but the prices are inflated for the overall quality of the experience.
I was incredibly disappointed when I returned here after about 4 years, as the last time I visited I have fond memories of the superb food and service on offer.
The place has slipped quite frankly, and I found that the dishes were mostly bland and tasteless and the service was kind of insipid.
If you are looking for a corporate event (where you are not fitting the bill) the puffed up attitude of the staff and atmosphee of the restaurant will suit you perfectly. However if you’re going for a meal with your friends or family then go to the Mogul or Chutneys as they are much better suited!
