Great reputation for Pizzas that, according to other reviews, hasn’t always met expectations. A friend who recommended The George, (Henfiedl), for its Steak and Kidney Pud, also recommended here for the Pizzas. We have not been disappointed and would return when in the area. Good ales/​beers and parking is easy.

For a pub to serve pizzas this good is amazing. They really are better, by a long way, than most Italian restaurants you go to. All home made in a proper pizza oven, they are drenched in mozzarella and so full of flavour. They have got a really good reputation for this and deservedly so. The last time we went there it was early on a Tuesday evening and we had trouble getting a table!
The pub itself is a great place too with a huge beer garden and excellent staff. Great selection of real ales and a good concise wine menu.
Perfect for a sunny afternoon in the garden with a fresh pizza and nice bottle of white wine to share.
