Henry Clarke Hinckley

Henry Clarke is a charming old style shop that has been a landmark in the town center for as long as I can remember. I don’t think the décor has been changed in many years meaning it retains it’s characters that similar shops lack.
They have a good selection china and crystal and it is an ideal shop to go to if you need a special present for a wedding or anniversary. They also have a small selection of art (both framed and canvas) and collectible items (ornaments etc).
When you pay for your item, the staff (all old-​school) pay extra attention to wrapping the item in Henry Clarkes paper and then get their leather bound receipt book out and write your receipt. It is a lovely touch and it’s nice to have a shop like this that is almost like stepping back in time.
