This is our local vet and we’d never go anywhere else. It’s situated on Nightingale Road in Hitchin and is easy to find. They’ve a decent sized car park so parking right outside isn’t a problem — important when you’ve got a sick dog or cat in tow.
They offer a very friendly and professional service and I’ve got nothing but praise for them. You can run an ‘account’ there too if you’re a regular which means you don’t have to pay up front. They’re very efficient at sending out reminders for annual vaccinations etc which helps me a lot.
Our cat has been through their ‘weightwatchers’ program as he was getting a little porky and he achieved his target weight without any hassle. They sell a range of pet foods (Hills etc) for a variety or animals plus lots of pet accessories too.
Price-​wise I think they compare well — veterinary treatment is never cheap but the prices seem fair.
