Great staff, lovely food, sometimes a bit slow bt café is always busy so cannot really complain, proper table service, a lovely quaint café.

The Owl Tea Rooms in Holt is a popular coffee/​tea rooms and shop on Church Street. You enter into the shop selling tempting quiches, cheese and potato pies, large cream cakes, to name but a few. The cakes are home-​made and very generously proportioned for a very reasonable £8−9. There is also a selection of elegantly boxed chocolate fudge cake, Turkish Delight etc., perfect to give as a gift. There is also some bold and bright nautically themed ceramics for sale too.
The tea rooms themselves are fairly spacious, with an additional walled garden of outdoor seating, that I’m sure proves a honeypot during the summer season. The menu is fairly expansive with items such as sandwiches, slices of cake etc. We only had a coffee, but the huge slices of chocolate cake looked very tempting! All the drinks at the Owl are Fair Trade, and served in substantial half glazed/​unglazed cups and saucers.
