A typical low rent drinking pit. Not very clean, customers loud and threatening. Cheap and nasty drinks. The management show no consideration at all for nearby residents. Noise, loud music, dirty, threatening atmosphere, the opportunity to sit fenced in on dirty concrete next to a busy suburban road. If that’s your idea of a good night out The Grubby Grove Inn will suit you down to the ground.
A travesty of a pub. Avoid unless you like the idea you may end up in casualty.

Changed hands relatively recently. Previously run by Kenny for approximately twenty five years. Large family friendly main bar area with a tap room to the side.Pool.Friendly atmosphere and good range of drinks.

In my childhood this was the place where many Sunday afternoons were spent. Its a large pub in Dalton with a good range of drinks and some fabulous crisps!
Now I’m not going to lie, this is a bit of a local pub for local people but its a good place to catch up on gossip and local news.
There used to be a really friendly bloke behind the bar who always cracked jokes and because its a local boozer the drinks are cheap too.
