Incredibly bog –standard, as you’d expect. Last attempt to go they were anticipating a 40 minute wait, which is hilarious given that all their food will be microwaved in five minutes. The definition of average.

Probably the best Table Table I have been too but obviously benefits from the passing trade. Lack of real ale but the food is passable though a little plastic. Surroundings are comfortable and O found the service good.

We’ve eaten here on a few occasions and each time the food has been very good, the staff excellent.
We have a friend who comes up from Cornwall, he stays at the Premier Inn & he thinks it’s a great place too.

For many years this pub has had many owners and many styles. The situation next to the canal is lovely especially on a summers day where there are tables outside canalside. The interior is large, spacious and clean. The new management (premier inns) have given it a much needed revamp. The menu is comprehensive, from light bite to full roast dinner. Plenty of vegetrian options even in childrens portions which is unusual. Prices are average for a mid range eatery. Great for any functions too.
