Within the Goodwin centre, there are many organisations sharing the premises but the main feature downstairs is a community café, it resembles a school canteen but produces good food and always fish and chips on a friday. The elderly of teh estate are the main visitors as well as all the staff in the building, they offer things like curry and panninis to school like custard with chocolate pudding or trifle. There are two high chairs available for young children, but no play area.
