I have had a very bad experience of a member of staff being very rude and then denying it when the manager was around. And then the manager decided to accept what the staff said. very humiliating experience. I’ll not be going back there again.

Bodgers, a store which offers variety, value for money and Customer Service. Ask any member of their staff for assistance and they will go out of their way to help.
The Restaurant/Café is a pleasure, regardless if you want a meal, or just a snack and coffee you won’t be disappointed.

Bodgers of Ilford. Brillant.
This is a really old department store, like they use to have before House of Fraser and Debenhams rolled them out all of the country. Maybe you could say it’s the Harrods of Ilford.
I am surprised it’s still open. It’s catered for an older market — lots of clothes for pensioners. No longer do I puzzle about where they get their specific ‘fashions’ from.
I went in for a zip and it’s perfect for that — a huge haberdashery section. I am very glad it’s still open. Bodgers is a wonderful old niche department store.

Bodgers is quite an old shop, been around for ages. Its mainly for older people, although they do stock things like gift sets and make up for young people, but why visit bodgers for that when you can go to Debenhams. They have a wide variety of stuff, form handbags, to bedding, curtains etc.

Bodgers is the «designer» shop for ilford these days. training just behind debenams I would say. Well Bodgers offers bomber prices but i don’t think they have the quality which goes along with that! Unfortunately I don’t think their products can compete with high store brands such as debenams, house of frasier etc. Maybe thats why its dying out now? And only one bodgers remains in ilford! You can have a look around but am sure you will find a better deal on your curtains, bathroom rugs etc elsewhere
