Nice pub right next to town hall. Lots of wood and memorbelia. Beer choice seems to be predominantly Adnams but its kept ok. Obviously suite popular.

This is a real gem in the town centre. Ale and food great and it’s a pub where you can sit and have a natter even on a Friday night. Recommended!

Mannings is a nice pub in the centre of Ipswich town. I went for a nice lunch time meal with my mum and sister, after we had been looking for ages trying to find somewhere nice to eat that wasn’t packer or full of children (as I had a few hours away from the kids). We sat towards the back of the pub and looked at the menus whilst deciding what to have we noticed the people on the table next to us had the biggest most stuffed sandwiches I had ever seen in my life. I picked the lasagne, my sister picked the chips and chillie con carne and my mum chose off of the specails board a nice meat on buns meal. The food came and the staff member was really friendly checking we had everything we needed. The food was great we munched it all up and even considered dessert but we were just to full.
A nice quite pub with some lovely food.
