Avoid this place like the plague! We used to have this as our local fish & chip shop which had the best in town and honestly, back then we recommended it to everyone. That was earlier this year. We went and had a variety today like Cod, Plaice, Chips, Savaloy and mushy peas.
After two bites into the Savaloy my body something it’s never done before, I was violently forced to vomit (and I can eat almost anything like haggis etc.).
We tried the fish, it was mushy (not fresh), very oily, batter looked yellowish (as if the oil has been reused for too long, the chips oily, brown in colour and most not even peeled probably.
The only thing that was edible but equally unpleasant was the mushy peas.
Seriously, I can eat pretty much anything even badly made food. But this was rotten and generally not fit for human consumption.
I’m truly upset by this as it was the very best locally and I’m shocked how bad this food was. Even the worst kebab I’ve had in my life has not been this bad, I think this is probably the worst thing I’ve ever eaten in my life.
What a pity — avoid, avoid, avoid!
