Newly refurbished, this hotel is really beautiful. Modern with a warm ambience. We had the Sunday carvery which at £7.95 was excellent value for money. Could not fault the quality and portions of the food. All in all… excellent

I’ve never been disappointed with this place. I can only review on the restaurant and bar side of things but, the good is great quality, the service is very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is always pleasant. If you are ever on a trip down the M77, drop in and try some food. They have a range of choices from British, Italian and a bit of Indian in the menu. There is also a great choice of drinks at the bar with trained cocktail staff! What more could you want!

This review is for the family day carvery only. I’m always looking for child friendly places, so seeing the adverts for the Fenwick hotel proclaiming that their Sunday carvery is family day– complete with play area and boucy castle for the kids — meant I was anxious to try it out. Anywhere we can eat and also entertain our two boys is always welcome. Its a typical carvery and you get what you expect — three choices of meat(lamb, turkey and beef when I was there). Was ok, but have had better, more plentiful carvery visits elsewhere. The main plus is that the staff are very attentivce and friendly. However, my gripe with the visit was that it advertised a bouncy castle — cue many tears from my boys when I had to tell them that it actually wasn’t on. If we had been told this before sitting down to eat we would have gone elsewhare but unfirtunately only found this out after eating. In all an ok place for food, but not worth a special visit if you are going on the promise that there is good entertainment for the kids

This has been a nice hotel in its time, but I feel is beginning to show its age. It’s location — in the past probably a good thing, is now letting it down — being right next to the M77 Motorway. Access is now through the village rather than off the main road, although this doesn’t affect journey times too much. Traffic noise is a problem in most rooms — although some are better or worse than others. The rooms are OK, though aging, and it is quite expensive for what you get. The bar area is a lovely old fashioned affair, and well recommended. Better hotels can be found in the area, for a similar price.

Hotel in the village of fenwick on the outskirts of kilmarnock. Has a nice bar area, a resturant and rooms to let out. Restaurant is reasonable price and quality wise. has a good sized car park with small kids play area.
