Very friendly staff, however they might lose attention when crowded, we had to look out for some time ’till they noticed that we were ready to order. Once ordered, they took good care to keep us under their eyes. Food was very tasty, hot and served attractively. My favourite was the lasagne, garlic cheese bread is tastier than most other restaurants, too! The desserts were heavennnnly, ice creams were amazing, apple crumble was nice light and and just right, tiramisu was just the right sweetness and lightness after a big good meal, and the chocolate fudge was simply my favourite. The atmosphere is really nice, it has a cosy homey feeling and there’s privacy as there are good distances between tables to have space for a good conversation. I loved it very very much. GIVEIT A TRY! And a big thank you to the friendly staff.

I don’t agree that Al Forno has the best pizza in London — not compared with heavyweights like Franco Manca or Bravi Ragazzi in Streatham. It’s definitely delicious, though. I had the parma ham and rocket pizza. Gorgeously fresh dough with a crunchy crust. Although it must’ve been very salty as I experienced an unquenchable thirst afterwards. My friend’s lasagne was scaldingly hot to start but duly wolfed down, so I’m assuming it tasted good. My gluten-free choc cake and ice cream had an unexpected amaretto flavour, and it was a tad dry. I still enjoyed it, and it was wonderfully gooey for the final few mouthfuls. Friendly, attentive staff coupled with exceptionally reasonable prices(especially with a Taste Card) gives Al Forno a solid four. Recommended.

A lovely atmosphere and friendly staff greet you at Al Forno, and are supported by a plethora of choices on the menu. A personal favourite of mine has to be the Diavola pizza. The pepperoni is spicy but still delicious and well-balanced by the mozzarella and pasata base. They also boast a wide selection of gelato flavours for dessert, topping off a wonderful Italian meal.

My favourite restaurant in kingston, they have very friendly staff that will do anything to make you happy, the pizza is the best in London. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great. The live singers on a Friday add to the atmosphere just wish they had the singers on a Saturday aswell. 5 stars

Staff a little on the theatrical side but, hey, this place is a little piece of Italy. The wood fired pizzas really are excellent.

For the largest and tastiest pizza, this is the place to go. The staff make the place with the witty banter. Unless you are starving order a medium pizza for 2 people.

Fabio, the waiter, no joke, sends you off with Limencello & kisses you on each cheek. That’s how it ended… imagine how it started. Hours earlier, it also started with Fabio, less drunk then he was before he sent us off, ushering us off to a table. This is more of an atmosphere place. The food is sublime, but set up to enjoy it. The staff is not hyperaware of your needs. They tend to them, but on their own timeline and in a tag teamed affair. Our waiter lagged on our food order, s o someone else stepped in. This should suit you just fine if you can appreciate your waiter’s antics and be amused by them instead of being annoyed. It really is one of those places that seems to attract the gallant hybrid of locals and tourists. It feels like you’re walking in to a popular person’s dinner party. Upon entering, diners casually look up and once you over, food and wine abounding on their tables. The staff scutters about, busy, kind, and mildly amusing. The family at the table next to us was spearheaded by a set of smashed parents and their two kiddos. Apparently, according to them, you can order whatever you want, even if it is not on the menu & they have the ingredients in the kitchen. The experience was more memorable then the specifics of what I ordered.

I have been to this place before and have really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere every time. Even though there’s a few branches, there’s a feel to it that makes it feel family run. I’ve been greeted by the same friendly guy each time. The staff are really friendly, but tend to be a bit slow when paying for your bill. The food is really lovely, there’s quite a vast menu(available on the website) of really lovely italian food. There’s outdoor seating too which is nice, but unfortunately you get smokers there which really ruins it for me. it’s the last thing i want to smell when i’m eating my dinner.

For atmosphere, this place can’t be beat! Dark, low ceilings and dark wooden furniture everywhere, with low lighting and a very cozy feeling throughout(although beware, was a bit cold in there the last time, but not uncomfortably cold). The pizzas are huge! They come as big squares and are definitely worth sharing with a big group. We asked the waiter to show us the sizes and he showed the boards they come on which made the size decision easy. The food quality is above average(competing with Zizzi’s in my opinion for top pizza in Kingston) and the price is very reasonable if you buy pizza to share — worked out to about £4−5 /person when sharing! The beer is okay, but didn’t fancy the house red too much, but that could just be my unsophisticated pallet! Have been in here several times as it(along with Zizzi’s) are open after 11pm which is good timing for post pub munchy without too many p*ssed uni-students being about(probably all in the Oceania queue at this point). Definitely give it a try!!!

The interior design is beautiful and the tables are far enough apart for it to feel more private. The group pizzas are huge, making them perfect for sharing. The dishes are lovely, always a good night.
