For years I had no idea that we had this massive store tucked away in Kingston. It is quite hard to get to if you are driving — it is not in the town centre itself, but off a residential street, in a cluster of what look like warehouses.
Sally stocks a wide range of hair and beauty supplies. I discovered this when a friend of mine used to colour my hair at home. We had a great deal — I would drive her here, pay for the colour and bleach, which usually came to under £20.00, then make her lunch or dinner while she did my hair, and that was my payment. I miss those days.
As I am not in the beauty trade, I don’t get the hallowed 40% discount. Still, there is a lot that I can get here that works out cheaper than even, say, Superdrug. Plenty of the shampoos and conditioners that are used in salons, and then pushed as a sale after they have done your hair can be found here, always at a vastly reduced price.
