Ravenscraig Castle is a big part of Kirkcaldy‘s history, it is now nothing more than ruins but it tells a great story. Many people visit the ruins over the summer period and there are tours available at certain times. Throughout the site there are lots of things to read and see and when you have visited the castle there is a beautiful walkway through the trees that if you follow all the way takes you to the beach on the banks of the river forth. If you have kids then there is also a brand new playpark area to visit and there is a snack van and ice cream van there through the summer period. An interesting and educational place to visit but fun too and a great place for photo oppertunities.
