Visited April 2015: «Country Chic» We ate dinner at the restaurant, another Vintage Inn, which is the same company as another Innkeeper’s Lodging — The White Rabbit. We shared some rustic bread with baked brie, duck salad, egg pasta main dish, and I had a sherry trifle for dessert. The food was incredible, service was amazing, and the atmosphere was rustic elegant. We had our complimentary breakfast there, which we were able to choose to have made for us and partake of the buffet.

Converted farmhouse with original flags filled with second hand farm furniture, gew-gaws and the like, but it has a roaring fire and it all works quite well. It’s pretty popular judging from the big, and mostly full, car park. The food is bought-in with a big range and mostly you get what you ask for with good service. Made a mistake yesterday with the ‘Welsh Rarebit’ — £6 for one slice of toast thinly covered with cheese, 4 bits of bacon and a cold tomato. The chips(included) were fine.
