Such a warm friendly place, I have eaten here numerous times for lunch and dinner. The young staff are great, very lively and helpful! Food is to a high standard for a chain.

Always lively, beautifully presented and friendly. This place is consistently good.
Taking advantage of the –50% offer over January, we booked through the online form. The nature of the offer means that only later tables seemed to be available so by the time we got there at 9:20pm the rumbles had definitely started in my tummy.
We ordered:
Garlic bread with rosemary & sea salt — delicious (~£3.95)
Mushroom risotto with truffle butter and pancetta — delicious (~£12)
Prawn tagliatelle with chilli, tomato & lime — delicious (~12)
Total thumbs up from me. Again.

I did not try the entrees, but the bruschetta and calamari were excellent. Still a bit peckish– the homemade doughnut dessert hit the spot, and the service was impeccable.

Das Gusto befindet sich direkt an der King Street im Zentrum des kleinen Knutsford.
Zwei Mal besuchte ich das Restaurant und ich muss sagen, es war bei beiden Besuchen einfach top!
Die Steaks waren gut gegrillt, leicht rosa, mit einem Hang zum Blutigen. I like! :)
Die Beilagen waren ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft. Grüné Bohnen, Champignons und Pommes, alles so wie man es erwartet oder sich wünscht.
Der Service ist sehr gut. Vorher, nachher und zwischendurch. Immer wieder ein prüfender Blick, ein Nachfragen. Aber gerade soviel, das es nicht nervig wird. Hier fühlt man sich gut aufgehoben.
Preislich nicht ganz günstig, wobei das in den meisten Restaurants in Knutsford der Fall.
Das Restaurant an sich, ist sehr gemütlich und war aktuell komplett in Weihnachtsstimmung geschmückt. Tanne-​Girlanden, Lichterketten und Kugeln. So wurde aus dem Abendessen schon fast ein Christmas-​Dinner!

Das Gusto in der King Street ind Knutsford ist ein klasse Restaurant. Von Pasta über Steaks bis hin zu Seafood gibt es hier Alles.
Der Service ist extrem aufmerksam und fragt mehrmals nach, ob alles stimmig ist.
Die Wartezeit auf das Haupgericht war etwas lang, so dass ich schon etwas durchhing, aber das scheint in der Gegend normal zu sein, das man etwas länger auf sein Essen wartet. Jedenfalls in Knutsford.
Die Spaghetti mit Lobster und Garnelen kann ich nur empfehlen. Super lecker und für umgerechnet 20 Euro habe ich soviel Lobster und Garnelen bekommen, das ich fast schon die Spaghetti suchen musste. Sehr guetes Preis-​Leistungs-​Verhältnis.

A smart and welcoming restaurant in Knutsford’s King Street, Gusto is the former Est Est Est, which grew from here a couple of decades ago into a large chain. It’sow a small independent chain again, with 7 other restaurants from Edinburgh to Liverpool.
We eat here frequently, for the lively atmosphere and the good Italian cooking, and the Moretti beer on tap. It’s great for lunches, a cappuccino, and part of the lively Knutsford evening scene. Waiters and waitresses are friendly and efficient, and they do great takeaways — which is unusual for such a grown-​up place.

good selection of italy food, a cosy place to enjoy a meal. but could be very busy sometime needed to pre book the talbe in advance to make sure you had talbe for you waiting.

Good italian food with great atmosphere. I always enjoy the food in here and the staff are friendly and obliging. Sometimes the service can be a little slow but that can really depend on how busy it is. I would recommend booking in advance this is a popular choice

It has changed over the years yet still has the same lively atmosphere and Italian feel to the place. Have been a challenging customer for them though as I have been a part of numerous numbered parties from 4 — 15. But nevertheless service is still prompt and efficient so no food gets cold.
Similarly myself and the people I usually go out to dinner with have the same sort of stuff in every restaurant we go in (that way I know where the best quality is to go again!) Est Est Est I found has excellent quality food on offer (a wide range at that) with large, well crafted portions. The prices are acceptable although not for all clientelle.
Staff are extremely friendly and service is prompt. Sometimes you do have to speak very loudly just to get heard as in the evenings it gets amazingly busy!
A wonderful place to eat or just to socialise situated in a wonderfully high class town!

I like Italian food and I like Est Est Est, but was actually a little disappointed with the Knutsford one. Only a little though was still very good.
We pretty much order the same thing in them all — the sharing platter, and to be fair it is good value at all of them. You get loads. We tend to just order that and then another starter and that fills us.
Firstly we where sat right in the window — I hate it when a place does that, they only do it to make the place look full and in doing so make you feel like you’re being put on show.
The food was good, the calamari was far too tough though and the rice balls were cheese instead of the usual Bolognese, but I’m just being pernickety.
The other starter we chose was the salmon wrapped crayfish tails — not only did it look pretty cool on the plate it was rather tasty too!
The waiter bless him was good, maybe a bit too friendly for some, but meant well, even gave us the recipe for the salmon!

Good food with a lively atmosphere… the food is really great here if you like Italian and a good choice too. The staff are friendly too and the prices are good. Gets busy at night and makes for a really enjoyable night out.
