Argos

My vacuum cleaner is absolutely naff. It has lived a short and somewhat mediocre life, having been purchased last year at Sainsbury’s, and now slowly comes to an end. So, today I decided to seek out a new carpet cleaning companion and my Mum suggested I look online. We found one on sale at Argos, a Vax, that was less than half price (making it cheaper than the old one) and decided to go on in to town to purchase it.
We did the usual catalogue search and failed to find said vacuum so then decided to ask at the help desk. The chap was fantastic — we looked the product up online in store and he then put it on order so that we could have a quick look at it before deciding whether or not to buy it.
After no more than five minutes the Vax arrived and we had a quick look. There was no question really, although you can’t really tell if an item like this will work before you get it assembled, everything seemed in order and at such a price it was worth simply going for it!
We’d hoped to be able to leave it in store until later, but sadly were unable to leave purchased items, so lugged it back to the car before stopping off for a coffee. Once home my triumph continued! The assembly wasn’t too tricky and once together it cleaned like a dream. I know, it’s just a vacuum, but seriously — my carpets are better than they’ve ever been. Happy days!
Of course, you’ll find all manner of other things here too, from garden tools, TVs, homewares, toys — pretty much everything. Even jewellery, albeit not very nice jewellery! But, if you too need a vacuum go for the Vax that’s been reduced to fifty odd pounds from £119.99. Win! And expect an easy purchase, with lovely helpful staff in the Argos at Eastgate.
