I usually shop at Tescos, Seacroft but sometimes I go to Asda at Killingbeck as I like the variety and choice of food there. The last time I went, it was a bit annoying as I was queuing after being at work and had an afternoon off. The lady in front of me spent £450 on Xmas presents and one of the DVDs was missing. The supervisor was called and she said she would go and find it. It was ages and ages and then she called through to say she couldn’t find it but would look on home shopping. I felt faint and about 6 people had passed on the adjacent till but it was too late for me to move my shopping. If I had known I would have moved it. I came out feeling very frazzled and wasted about half an hour for nothing. I like the merchandise but not the tills.

This Asda is close to the centre and is open 24 hours so when i want something at 3 am i can just pop out to Asda/ Asda is good value for money and they do the best chocolate browines i have ever tasted.

This is the Asda that’s on Calendar and Look North whenever Asda is in the news. It is 24 hour, and it’s big, and it’s close to town. Hot Steve comes here now because it is on his way to and from work, which is awesome because it means when I come round for tea, he actually has food in, so I don’t have to stop at Mozza’s beforehand for stuff: P Also, the last time I came here, it was to buy ingredients for Rice Crispie cakes, but I ended up buying some shoes and nail varnish thanks to the cunning layout with George right at the entrance. Ooh and they sell mahussive free range eggs for like £1.20 or something. Delish.

I think this store is an excellent supermarket. I used to do my weekly shop here until I moved across town. I some how seems to be the perfect size large enought to stock everything you want but not too large to over face you. Great clothes section with a wide range of size and cheap prices. The stocks eveything you would expect and has some great deals on too as well as general been cheap anyway. The staff are always friendly here which is bonus as some places everyone seems grumpy. They also help pack your bags too which is real help when your pregnant and have a small child too.

We do our weekly shop here as it works out cheaper overall but we always try to get up early doors to beat the rush as it can become a shopping nightmare if you go later in the day when all the idiots and slow moving people come creeping out of the woodwork to buy their Asda ownbrand super strength lager. They have some good offers on various things but you have to keep your eyes out of you’ll miss them. Its quite a big store so takes a while to get around, and I always get distracted by the clothes, dvds, lamps etc, so you have to keep focused! I’d also recommend going for the three bottles of wine for £10 offer, its a real bargain but make sure you go early as the more expensive wines go quickly. And if you get chance and are feeling a tad hungover grab yourself an Asda breakfast they are dirt cheap and just the stuff for keeping the wine hangover at bay.
