We visit baa bar last week for the first time with some UNi friends and WOW, what a change from bourbon bar.
The main pull was the Shots at £1 all mini cocktails better than the normal £1 shots, also some of the guys had the cocktails and even though £3 were still very good.
we have been again and even though it was busy we still had a good time they had a dj on alos tonight that helped with the atmosphere

Unfortunately this is another venue that (in my personal experience) has been let down by it’s staff, who for some reason seem to think that they’re a cut above anyone in their venue!
The bar itself is pretty unrecognisable from when it was Bourbon, which in itself is a good thing. I’m unsure how long it’s going to keep itself looking as clean & well presented as it is currently, as they do cocktails from £3 — and anywhere that needs to be that cheap isn’t going to attract a crowd of people who’ll respect the surroundings that they’re in. It also won’t be able to afford to re-​invest in itself.
