Very dissapointed, after all the rave reviews, my future sister in law booked an appointment and when we got there we thought all was wonderful, but as this was her first ‘trying on’ of a wedding dress, we were frowned upon as though she should have known what she wanted and was wasting their time! I then suggested why couldn’t my future sister in law try on all the different designs to be told that why should ‘the owener’ put a client in a dress that ‘she’ does not think is right when ‘she’ has shown her all the dresses that would ‘suit her shape’!!! I am sorry but I am married and had a wonderful experience with all the boutiques I visited and was able to try anything on I wanted (not this boutique I might add!). If I had had the experience that left my future sister in law in tears the way this boutique did, I would have not held it together as well as she did.

I purchased my wedding dress from Broughtons Bridals. The cost of alterations increased each time I went for a fitting, and on the final day of collection (day before wedding) I brought the gown home to find it had stains on the front of it and needed to be taken back for cleaning. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this shop. Amazing how when the dress was finally returned in a wearable condition that the invite of adding a review/​comments on their service had been removed — funny that!

I purchased my wedding dress from Broughton’s Bridals and I have to say Sam, the lady who owns the shop with her husband, is one of the nicest people ever and made me feel so at ease whilst trying to find my perfect dress. She really really knows her stuff and is brilliant at it, she knows exactly what suits you and picks out the most stunning dresses which she thinks will suit your shape. She gives you her full attention when you’re in the shop and is so lovely and friendly you’ll instantly feel like she’s your new best friend! She’s not had this shop for long but I know business is already booming so if you’re on the hunt for your wedding dress make sure you pop into see Sam and her hubby.
