I would love to give them a proper review but it is 4:56 pm and they were listed as open until 5:30 pm today. Just paid £16 for a taxi to find out they were closed. Well done, Esquire. Thanks for wasting my time and money.

I’d class these guys as more ‘refined’ than ‘old school’, they definitely appeal to a more mature demographic than the competition. Paul is a fantastic personality for the business and it helps when staff are more like friends, especially if the visits are frequent. I’d only get my haircut somewhere else if I was in locked up or the military, period.

I couldn’t not give the barbers I’ve been going to for years anything less than five stars could I? Well even an unbiased customer would find it hard not to give these guys a good review. All four barber chairs are usually occupied when you enter, but the staff work quickly(that doesn’t mean you’ll end up with a random chunk of hair missing) to ensure that you don’t spend all day in there, and that you’ll only ever be waiting for about twenty minutes before you get cloaked up. I’ve never been unhappy with a haircut from there, and they execute old-fashioned haircuts and trims perfectly(for around £7), while also making styling suggestions and colouring for those who desire it. However, this is an old-fashioned barbers at heart, rather than a male grooming salon, so for those looking for something a little bit more metro-sexual, I’d suggest you look elsewhere.
