Express by Holiday Inn Leeds is located on Cavendish Street and not too far from the city centre. The hotel itself is large and modern, fairly basic by hotel standards, since it is certainly a budget accommodation. That said, it is clean and the staff are extremely nice, and in the five or six times my family have stayed here it has been a comfortable base. The rooms are fairly basic, and boxy, but more than serve their purpose and are clean and airy. The view is of a car park, but for the money that’s fine(at least you can check the car is OK!) one good thing about the car park is that it is safe(the hotel give you a code to enter) and it is free of charge. The rooms have a functional clean bathroom, basic TV, no internet access, and a hairdryer. For the money you really cannot complain. Beds are comfortable and the lifts are handy and not noisy. Breakfast is not included in the price, and you can go down and select a continental or a full English. My family chose to come and have breakfast with me, so they didn’t try it, though they did note it looked very nice, and well worth the £10 charge. The hotel is 5 minutes from the city centre and would be excellent for tourists, business travellers(as long as they don’t need internet in their room) and even stag and hen dos. My family love how the staff are so attentive and nice and they stay there time and again so they do get repeat business from their good manners!
