Very good fish and chips, they would get 5 stars if it wasn’t for the price of them. Beats the standard white rose shopping centre grub of the ubiquitous McDonalds and KFC.

One of Leeds worst kept secrets is the Graveley’s down by the market. You know somewhere is good when people will cue in the rain to get a bit of fish. This place has the bonus of being that little bit bigger and you don’t have to cue outside to get your fix. It is all about the fish with this place. The chips aren’t the best and it’s a little on the pricey side but its worth it for the skill they take in frying a humble piece of fish. The batter is thick and crispy and they have been doing it so long down there they certainly know how to cook your fish well.

Spreading out and away from the usual crowd of the city centre and city markets area Graveley’s expanded to the units of the White Rose Shopping Centre. Keeping up the fantastic service: swift, pleasant enough, good portion sizes and excellent grub(although there chips don’t have the extra sogginess that I enjoy). If you’ve reached the brink of your shopping capabilities and find your stomach churning as you body is grinding down in search of energy searching this is a quick-fix pick-me-up.
