Greggs

Arg. In some respects it is with a guilty nod of admission that I write this review, head hung in shame, but it is true nonetheless. Greggs may be the greasy bargain bin from hell but you’ve got to give it to them — they are cheap. I couldn’t possibly advocate using Greggs (for it is a purely functional visit one must make) more than once or twice in a quarter, but every one gets caught short every now and then. In a pinch Greggs is cool by me. With cheap lunch baguettes, hoards of cakes and doughnuts, crisps, fizzy drinks and more Greggs is the perfect place to grab some fast tasty food if you are really hungry and out of time. Of course, with that comes the consequences which saturated fats, sugars, salts and so on have on your body — but hey, you’ve heard it all before. You’re adults too, and as such should be able to balance your own lifestyles, without me needing to remind you to!
Greggs is perfect in a rush but not, in my opinion, perfect for regular usage!

Perfecting the steak bake since… only joking. Oh well, i do love Greggs. This bakery is one of the smaller ones but still had everything you could wish for. Halloween buns? Check! Pudsey Charity buns? Check! Christmas Cupcakes? Check! There’s really no wonder my waistline is expanding living so close to all these cakes…
The price is cheap, it’s quick and easy to pick up a sandwich or pastry for lunch and they even do soups, teas and coffees. Sorted!
Always extremely fast at serving and ALWAYS polite and friendly. 10 out of 10. get to Greggs!
