Whilst wondering through the Penny Hill Centre in Hunslet, I noticed this shop. It’s ridiculously low prices advertised in the window drew me in suspiciously to take a look. It has about 4 or 5 aisles of mainly freezers, storing vast amounts of packaged goods for less than RRP(recommended retail price). Things like various meats, ready meals, chips, ice creams and frozen vegetables were among the array of chilly goods. All very competitively priced indeed. I personally think ready meals are for lazy people heart set on self destructively ruining their health and boring themselves to death in the kitchen, with no interest in flavour or nutrients. So you wouldn’t see me buying those. However, as a balanced eater, and a big fan of the odd ice cream, a 10 pack of toffee crunch ice creams for around £1.50 is a deal I would rarely turn my back on. Great for the odd frozen treat, amazingly cheap, but please, if you plan on living passed 35, AVOIDTHEREADYMEALS and learn to cook. It’s fun!

I came in here one lunch because there was a poster in the window beckoning me in to buy Cornettos dead cheap, but when I got inside it smelt bad, and there was no real system in place for where stuff is kept, and lots of the shelves were empty, and I swear I saw a lady stuff a tin of soup up her jumper while her son was distracting the till girl. I didn’t say anything though because I thought I might get spat at/stabbed.
