Moda in Pelle sells women’s shoes in a range of fairly average high street designs with a few pairs that stand out as unusual. There are a broad range of styles which includes something to suit most tastes from four inch statement heels to simple flats. But don’t expect to find any trainers or ‘casual’ shoes! The interior is clean and minimalist with panels of bright pink vintage-style wallpaper adding some character. Prices are above average for high street — expect to pay around £50 for ballet pumps and over £100 for more daring heels and boots, but judging by Rachael’s comment this is hopefully reflected in higher quality.

Moda in Pelle have a large following of ladies who love quality, stylish and unusual footwear. There’s always a large arrangement of ladies court shoes, boots, sandals, bags and accessories. I used to have a friend who worked here and I seriously think she spent all of her wages on the shoes before she’d even been paid! I’m a huge fan of the court shoes but find that none of the boots here fit my calves. If, you me, you have legs like a rugby players, steer clear of the Boots section. It’s depressing to say the least. Moda in Pelle do have a higher price bracket than avergae. A pair of basic flats will cost you around £55. However, the quality is good from my own experience.

Always buy shoes online from this store as there isnt one local. On a trip to relatives in yorkshire recently i paid a visit to the leeds store. The service was fantastic, two shop assistants in store, both offered and gave assistance bringing out shoes i requested and giving honest comments, weren;t just about the sale, the shoes i was unsure about they gave honest comments about the ones which looked better. The store offer a loyalty card and they advised me how to get this service from buying online. Very good experience instore
