Geek heaven — any shop that fills its windows with remote control daleks and Star Wars advent calendars is certainly OK by me, though I appreciate everyone might not feel the same. If this is your sort of thing though, Model Zone is a good compromise between cheap, knock-​off memorabilia and the full-​on, second-​mortgage-​requiring stuff you get in comic shops, with the added bonus of having loads of model making stuff thrown in. If you’re not old enough to have yet rediscovered how cool things like train sets and Scalextric actually were, then this isn’t the place for you — it’s strictly dads and the old-​at-​heart only in here.
