I don’t understand the bad reviews. All of the food i’ve tasted here is really nice, pizzas are better than any other local shop & chicken tikka madras is yummy. As the person below has said, they have just had a refit too. Their chilli sauce is soooo nice aswell. I for one definitely recommend.

The name Pizza Grill somehow is one of the main things that let’s this place down. It conjures up images of burnt and crusty pizza. Pizza Oven would have sufficed, or maybe even Balti house. This place Is barely a pizza place, more a curry house as it is. The typical mistake to make on your first trip here is to order a pizza. Try to take heed and refrain. They are overpriced and the stodgy nature of the pizza is enough to make you gag. If you do feel the need to sample the food, try a curry, I’m told they are maginally better.

I went to order from Pizza Grill plainly and simply because of it’s name. I fancied pizza so this seemed like the most logical place to order from. Such a name indicated a large and varied pizza menu for me to pick my favourite from. However I was shocked to find that their was more kebabs and curries on the menu than pizza’s. Indian dishes took over the whole menu which made me doubt whether the restaurant actually specializes in pizza’s as the menu would infer it was a curry house. Nevertheless I went ahead and ordered a chicken and mushroom pizza! When it arrived and I was told it was £5.30.I was very shocked. From my favourite takeaway(pitzacano) I would pay a pound less than that and the taste is the best I have ever munched on. After getting annoyed at the price I munched into my food to find ssweetcorn on my pizza which is didnt order. The pizza was greasy, too thick and a little under cooked. Needless to say I wasn’t impressed as I had been looking forward to pizza all week! I shall not oder from here again, although I have heard good reports about their curry meal deals from the girls I live with. You can get a a curry, chips, 2 chapaties and an onion bhaji for only £6.50. That price is brill and my friends say their tikka masala is really tasty! I have been put off from my bad pizza experience however so shall stick to my favourite fast food places in the future. Pizza Grill cooks up a brill curry, however is not what it claims; «Leeds finest Pizza Grill»

As is suggested by the rather confused-sounding name, this takeaway serves its pizza as an afterthought and(still not much to do with grills) is in fact more of a curry house. As is often the case with places that try and serve a whole load of cuisines at once, none of them are done spectacularly well and all of them taste as though they’re a lot worse off for having been part of such a mixed operation — my margherita pizza had a distinct hint of chicken balti to it. Alright if you’re walking past and need something to soak up the beer, but there are far better places to spend your money.
