I’ve lived in Leeds for almost 6 years now, and it has taken me that long to actually find a professional hair salon that I really like. And well done me, I have found Westrow, and bestow upon it the title, ‘my hairdressers.‘ I was a bit worried that they would be too trendy for me, as it certainly looks that way from the outside, but Westrow had been strongly recommended so I paid a visit. On arrival, the receptionist was very welcoming, took my coat and offered me a drink. ‘A drink?’ i said, ‘what have you got?’ She offered me the usual; tea, coffee, water, squash… wine. ‘Wine?’ i said, ‘do you have a sauvignon blanc?’ She looked at me and said, ‘I’ll see.’ To be honest, I was so excited at the wine-gift, I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference anyway. Anyway. A lovely man called Guy cut my hair. He listened to everything I had to say, and gave me a full consultation and ensured that I was completely happy with his hair-plan before he started. Basically, it was the best hair cut I’ve ever had. I went home and wifey said, ‘oh my god, your hair looks amazing.’ He’s never said that before. Ever. In fact, he was so impressed, he went along to see Guy a week or two later, and was absolutely delighted; Wifey is THE most difficult hair cut-ee to impress as he ALWAYS hates his newly cut hair. But not this time! He’s making an appointment next week. Well done Guy. Well done.
