Wimpy

When I went into the shopping centre in Crossgates in Leeds I was surpised to look up and, up a flight of stairs, the only store on floor two, is a Wimpy. It’s like opening a little time portal and stepping back into the 1970s, very bizarre. Now, I have only ever seen two people at this Wimpy, and in a time of need, I popped there to pick up a take-​out cheeseburger for myself and my fiancé.
Now, I’m no food snob and when I’m hungry can settle for a McDonalds burger or a Burger King. But Wimpy burgers are so soft, that it doesn’t feel like you are eating meat. Nor does it taste like it either, the overpowering cheap cheese is the major taste.
I won’t ever eat at Wimpy again (in fact I thought they had all closed down in the 80s). It’s just too soft and squidgy.
