Greystones is the place to go if you want to impress your parents, in laws or grandparents. It is an old fashioned but charming tea rooms located in the heart of Leek town. There is a fantastic selection of teas, served in lovely china teapots on cups and saucers that you worry about breaking! The cakes are to die for and the service by the owner is impeccable. Greystones has won a string of awards for the quality of its offerings (and I suspect its olde world charm) and is locally regarded as the best tea room around. It is not open every day, so check before visiting.
