If I could give it 0 I would. Absolutely awful. Slow service, rude and argumentative staff that made no effort whatsoever to offer any kind of customer service. Food was decidedly average, the venue itself was covered in saw dust and trailing wires as they were open during renovation — we only went because we had a voucher for the place, which they did not want to honour. And to top it all off, wine glasses were covered in pink lipstick marks. I would never dine here again and I’d certainly tell everyone else to avoid the place.

Usually my first or second stop on a night out in Leicester. It serves a good range of beers and spirits, the ladies seem to love the cocktails here! There is a private back bar which is sometimes used for parties during quiet periods, although this can often be opened up to the public. I wouldn’t say I go to Fat Cats for the music, it’s not particularly noticeable although there is a DJ booth, but the atmosphere is good, peaking about Midnight. Also outside drinking/smoking area with heaters. Door staff are quite strict on ID. There is a cash machine inside. Quiet during the week.

Looks posh on the offset — get inside though and you find it’s a little bit shabby. They have daft door rules like no trainers and under 25 year olds on a Saturday. Fine, I don’t want to go there anyway! Had lunch there once — was ok, like wetherspoons but in fancier plates. Got a very random VIP section that I can’t work out why there is a point to it!

Totally average. A bit dark and dingy, so really am not pleased with the staff. A bit obnocious. Can’t wait to see the staff on the dole line. They really deserve it. Food was okay, average really, but seems like the place to hang out.

Oooo, it’s a bit pretentious in here innit! It’s hard to sit and have a relaxing drink because you can feel the eyes of the person at the next leatherette chair scanning you for designer labels. It’s yuppy heaven really but I find it cold, overwhelmingly brown and the pints are overpriced for the privilege. Never bothered to commit to eating here so can’t comment on the menu, there are 101 other places I’d rather eat!

There are leather seats, an wide choice on the menu and lovely comfortable surroundings, plus an outdoor seating area. food is not too pricey, so students can afford to lounge about here too.
