This is a large department store in Leicester. It may struggle in compariosns with the newer stpores of Dreebenhams andf the glitzy John lEWIS.
The product range is definitely aimed at the older generation a nd some of the clothing should come with an over 60’s health warning as nobody who wanted to appear fit for the 21st century would dream of wearing it.
The prices arent bad and if its not clothes you want then go for it

Good shop, nice and different to some other large department stores.
lots of choice and good for a wander.
old style wedding gift list service where they take all your choices of the shelves and put in store room ready for people to buy, good idea as nothing goes out of stock but downside is guests have to go into the store.

I love the tradition of this place. Sort of like a super watered down version of Harrod’s. Good buys during the sales. Clothes are mostly of the traditional ilk, with some alternative surprises at times. Though there are some nice items, Barbour, Orvis, Ralf Lauren, Marc Jacobs, etc., overall it’s not the first destination on my list of places to shop, but worth a visit.

for some reason every time i go into this stor i always get lost. i think it is becoming a little outdated and needs a new location and revamp, it is expensive too, but saying that there window displays are always lovely.
